Wyoming not only put up 600 yards on NE they had 33 first downs. Thus, it wasn't that they rolled up three or four big plays to stuff the stats. That's 1800 yards NE has given up in their last three games albiet two of them were against Wisconsin and Georgia.

Gophers develop something offensively over the next month + maybe they can give them a scare.

I still don't think we match up well against them...I'm not sure we'll be able to score enough to match their offensive output.

I was watching it thinking to myself "Hey, the Gophers are as good as Wyoming. How about if we stun them this year, at home no less." It would be awesome but I won't hold my breath. I agree that the Gophers don't match up well with Nebraska, for some reason. Gopher "O" is going to have to get a whole lot better before this dream could be a reality.

Wyoming's QB played very well. Can we get that sort of performance from Phil or Mitch?

The MN Gophers had 177 yards total vs. that terrible Nebraska D last year - and 78 of those yards came late in the 4th quarter when it was 38-0 Huskers.

QB Phillip Nelson was 8/23 for 59 yards with 2 INT's (one a pick 6).

At this point, I would think the MN Gopher offense should worry about sustaining drives against NMSU and worry about Nebraska later.

At this point I don't believe the MN Gopher offense is worried about Nebraska. Thanks for trolling though.
