A lie travels around the world before the truth even laces up it’s shoes.

this person probably believes what was posted on social media actually happened.

What's the harm in humoring him for a little bit in his delusions?

Both of those are examples why you can’t not let a lie travel the earth. This person that lied about their police experience needs to be held accountable. Just like the people that posted on the internet that the Clinton’s were running a demonic sex cult that worshiped the devil.

I saw an article that a lady ran out of hair spray. She decided that gorilla glue spray would do the trick. So it’s not been 30 days and the glue can not be removed from her hair. She now found a lawyer that is gong to sue gorilla glue cause the warnings were not specific enough. I guess what I am saying as we as a society are dumb.

Also, I should also note that this is literally the most I've investigated the situation in Portland. I just haven't paid much attention, believe it or not.
I think we all find that easy to believe.

Should it be ignored or should the truth come out that he is a huge lier?
If you want race relations to improve, you also need to call out those that pull this kind of crap too.
Didn't read whatever the person claimed. I watched the UMPD video, and that stands on its own. That is the truth.

PD's need to be transparent and release videos, like this. I can't see how that is a bad thing.

Oh no a book?

And I thought you belived in freedom.

I don't care if someone is antifa, a proud boy or al Quida as long as they don't act out violently.

You're semi weekly reminder that #BLM is a marxist terrorist organization. It's not about racism.

They aren’t organized!

(Goal post shift)
I thought you believed in freedom!!

A book exists.
A picture of the AG with the book exists.
Endless amounts of evidence provided showing that they exist.
Still just an idea for some here.
They left can’t admit Antifa exist. If they do then the lose the narrative that Antifa is a bogeyman made up by the right.

It is the incredible hypocrisy on the Left that has made me lose total faith in them. I never had the faith for the Right because of this, but the Left could write a book on it.

I’ll admit it exists. Antifascism is an ideology, yet you mouth-breathing dorks can’t quite seem to wrap your hollow skulls around that fact.

Personally, I’d prefer an AG who would take a picture with a pro-fascism handbook.

Honestly, I don’t even care if they exist or not. I believe the black bloc protesters attacking and burning and marching are antifa. But if they’re not, can we not still talk about this nationwide group of black bloc protesters attacking and marching and burning? It’s still a big deal, even if they don’t have a name and a published roster of leadership and members.

You don't understand what antifascism means do you?

Though I’m already yawning at your eventual attempt at a “gotcha” here: It’s the ideological opposition of fascism.

You don’t have an understanding of what fascism actually is, and that’s ok, most Americans don’t. Trump wasn’t a fascist. Whatever gripe you’re going to lob about the left—cancel culture, protests, riots, the ever-present boogeyman that is the media—also doesn’t qualify as fascism. The word gets used too lightly.

The only f*cking honest leftist on this board. Who TF has been advocating for fascism in this country?

I wasn't going to lob anything. I don't use the term to describe anyone or anything. You seem to be changing your tune though. It wasn't too long ago that you agreed with someone that Antifa was indeed just an idea. It's good that you changed your mind though.

Communism and socialism were well thought up and defined by a philosopher, before anyone ever attempted to implement them.

Who was the philosopher that thought up and defined fascism, in a similar well-formed manner prior to implementation attempts? I don't think there was.

The word apparently comes from Mussolini's Fasces of Revolutionary Action movement, founded in 1915, which eventually became the National Fascist Party in 1921.

On the FRA wikipedia page, it says "In 1915, members of the Fascio began to officially refer to themselves as "Fascists." They denounced Marxism, but asserted that they supported socialism, using the famous quote by French socialist Louis Auguste Blanqui: "He who has iron has bread" on the title page of its newspaper, Il Popolo d'Italia"

So, I think this supports my premise above. There was no such well-thought out philosophical foundation of fascism, underpinning it in the way that communism and socialism did/do have. Rather, it was more about a charismatic man wanting to do violence to bring about socio-political reform. Pretty much the same as Hitler and the National Socialist Party.

To what extent did either movement/organization/party strictly believe in the tenets of socialism? As opposed to whatever the political/power structure was in Italy and Germany post-WWI. I'm guessing, both were far more concerned with gaining power via warfare than how to make the world a better place.
