Bizarre Goldy Gopher Caravan Sighting

Yesterday was a bizarre day.

I had to make an unplanned visit to the optometrist ye morning because of an unusual eye irritation. While sitting in the lobby, waiting to meet the doc, in walks Goldy Gopher! His caravan heading to Iowa stopped in because someone needed fresh contacts for the trip.

I was tempted to yell out, "Hey Goldy, who hates Iowa?!" But I thought that might cross the inappropriate line (also found out my stand-in doc was a Hawkeye, ugh).

Unfortunately no selfie with Goldy, but hopefully the "right place, right time" is a good omen for Gopher Football today.

Agreed but it would have gotten awkward when he realized Goldy is a mascot who doesn't speak and can't yell back "we hate iowa"...
