I just did the nitty-gritty on the Gophers schedule.
If its safe to assume that the top 6 teams in no particular order will be Indiana, Michigan, Ohio St. MSU, Minnesota and Illinois, we have a nice little advantage in the scheduling.
We avoid playing Michigan and Ohio State twice. We also miss out on probable wins against PSU and Purdue. Meanwhile, Illinois is the only team projected for the top 6 to avoid 2
Games against projected top 6:
IU: 9
Mich: 9
OSU: 9
MSU: 9
Minn: 8
Illinois: 8
It's a slight advantage and probably not a major deal but in what could be a very tight race, it could be huge!
