It means we just beat a top 10 team on the road for the first time in a LOOOONG time (BTN says 1981). It means and shows this team is fully capable of beating a lot of teams anywhere, and that the close showings in Illinois and Michigan were likely not flukes.
It also means we put ourselves back into the mix for a tourney berth due to having an absolutely huge road win against a high RPI squad. Don't get me wrong, this win doesn't change anything unless they project forward and continue to play with the edge and confidence they showed in this game.
