USC Wideouts vs Gopher secondary. USC's O-line is not huge so I think they will not have a simple time rushing between the tackles. Now if they can get their RB's in space I think they will have a chance for some big gains. They are thin on the line so if the Goph's can beat them up a bit that would be great. Barkley's accuracy drops when he gets thumped a couple times so pressure will be key. But the size/speed of their receivers is really scary, and I am not sure the Gophs can matchup there. Can't wait till Saturday. There's a reason they play the games.... Go Gophers fUSC

I just want the game to be competitive long enough for me to get all of my OJ and cheaters jokes out of my system.

biggest concern

is that the scoreboard won't be able to keepup with USC's scoring

is that I knock over the giant Jenga and am mocked by my tailgating peeps.

After Saturday, it couldn't possibly be any worse. I'm going to eat, drink and have fun at the tailgate. I'm going to strip the Song Girls with my eyes. And then I'm going to enjoy whatever good parts of the game come to pass.

I'm most worried that I still won't be able to find the new Coors Light aluminum pints for the tailgating festivities. I must have those, yet I can't seem to find them. Another expedition is slated for Friday.

That no one has a heart attack when the Gophers win 41-27

Since two of the Gopher scores will come defensively, I doubt it will be possible for many to avoid having a heart attack.

Maybe the Gophers will take USC to the wood shed and beat them 41-10.

Here's the thing. MTSU found the key, the coyotes exploited it, USC will emulate until we take it away.

Both QB's dropped back an extra two steps. Both found success downfield. We're not going to get pressure unless we can cover. It's an ugly reality. playing tight only gets us beat deep. We just have to get better and play beyond our experience. If we do we'll get some converage sacks and force a quicker release and shorter game plan for USC. Then I think we'll be OK. Just not real confident we can actually do this. Personally I play a prevent package, except I cover with a safety deep until they go away from it. I think a three man front is all we need until they start running at us.

biggest concerns? how aboout the inconvenient fact that we play a team "light years" ahead of USD in terms of talent?? brew mentioned the usc game as a key measuring stick.....haven't we already been "measured"??? and drawn, and quartered, etc?!
