Was that Minnesota and Northwestern, with the Gophers winning?
The gophs needed that win and one more to get to a .500 record and an NIT berth. They upset 1-seed MSU in Round 2 to achieve that, and ended up winning the NIT. Had they lost to MSU (or NU for all that matters), no postseason.
