Since The Big10 became the big11 in 1993, the gophers have missed the following years against the following teams. Also included is the scheduled big ten byes for the near future.
Illinois: 97, 98, 05, 06, 11, 12
Indiana: 95, 96, 01, 02, 09, 10
Michigan: 99, 00, 09, 10
Michigan St: 93, 94, 99, 00, 07, 08
Northwestern: 97, 98, 05, 06
Ohio St: 93, 94, 03, 04
Penn St: 95, 96, 01, 02, 07, 08
Purdue: 03, 04, 11, 12
It doesn't seem to be a perfectly regular pattern, but it looks like it evens itself out over time. Does anyone know the actual process or pattern to this??
It seems fair to me that OSU and Northwestern would be the teams we don't play in '13 and '14. Right??
