Nothing new here. No one believes in the Gophers, which is dumb. Coach Kill is going to win a lot more games than people think. I'm saying 3-4 conference wins -- good enough for fourth or fifth, not sixth. Bogus man,
4 total wins this season and steady improvement throughout the season should be realistic goals. if it gets into the 1-2 wins range this season that would be a disappointment.
personally I would like to see the start of a defense that can be solid each year.

Not dumb. Gophers were terrible last year and are introducing everything new this. We believe, pray, hope that Kill & Co. will surprise, but it will be a surprise. Surprise means, I think, unexpected. The poll is the essence of expected.
I personally think the Gophers could win three or four B10 games. But if so it will be a huge surprise.
