I don't post much on here anymore, but I used to. I want to take this opportunity to give you this contact information. If you press 8 after the tone, the operator will instruct you to dial the first few numbers of the person you want to contact. I did this and was connected to Jim Delany's line, which allowed me to leave a voicemail for his secretary.
I think adding Maryland and Rutgers to the Big Ten would be a terrible move. The Big Ten is already the richest conference, and I believe further expansion will rob the Big Ten of the shared history and intimacy that separates the Big Ten from newer conferences like the SEC or Big 12. It was one thing to make a home run addition like Penn State or Nebraska (great fans, huge national brands, elite facilities, etc.). Maryland and Rutgers aren't exactly Penn State and Nebraska.
