Does Wisconsin deserve to be in the NCG if they beat PSU and Michigan State?

Assume the following:

Stanford loses to Notre Dame
VA Tech loses to either Virginia or Clemson
Georgia loses to LSU
Oklahoma State loses to Oklahoma

Go Penn State, and if not, then Go Michigan State, and if not, then Go Stanford/Oregon.

No chance. And that's not even taking into consideration that the national media thinks the entire B1G sucks.
 

And it is nearly unheard of a team that is ranked #16 on thanksgiving weekend to play in the national championship game.
 


Why would it be anything other than LSU vs. Alabama in your scenario?
 

Everything would have to fall their way and the biggest thing that would have had to happen was LSU losing today. Still could happen, but very doubtful.
 

Even if you add in Alabama losing to Auburn, the Tide would still deserve the title game more than Wisconsin. Losses to undefeated LSU by 3 points and in a rivalry game to Auburn are more impressive than Wisconsin's losses. If Oklahoma beat Oklahoma State convincingly, they probably would still be more deserving of the national title game than Wisconsin. It's really hard to make a case for a 2 loss Big Ten team.
 




They lost to the worst OSU team in over a decade, one mired in a major scandal with a lame duck interim coach, and one that was incapable of the forward pass. MSU fans would probably argue that they dominated Wisky for more than 3 quarters of that game that came down to the final minute.

Wisky is a nice team. 6-2 in the BT is nothing to be ashamed of (if they beat a weak PSU team, which I think they will). If they can beat PSU and MSU, they'll be B1G Champs in a year where the conference saw more scandal and embarassment than the last 20 years combined and earn themselves a trip to Pasadena. It's a good thing for them that Russell Wilson fell into BB's lap. Congratulations.
 

Two losses, one to OSU this year, won't get you there. Too bad for wisconsin, I think they would do better than most people would think. The speed defenses in the SEC would have a challenge with their power running offense, and Wilson as a changeup. But now I'll never know for sure.

What an asinine statement. Show's you know absolutely nothing about Russell Wilson. But yeah, obviously he was paid the big bucks the come to Wisconsin.

Sure, lets let them play in the NCG. I would love to see Wisconsin get absolutely embarrassed by LSU or Alabama.
