Sure it does. I've played in leagues set up and run with a simple spreadsheet. Nice to see there is at least one web option out there now to create your own league.
I'd have to disagree though, NBA Fantasy hoops has traditionally been much more fun (for me anyways). More games, much bigger pool of players, and longer season (time to turn things around after a rough start).

I'll volunteer to be commish if we can get enough for a league. We found that an 8 team league with 6-man rosters (and a five man lineup) works out pretty well, but we could probably stretch it to 10 if enough people are interested, and willing to dig that deep into the Big 10.
Head-to-head weekly scoring
Weeks run Monday-Sunday, starting Dec. 2nd (so we're clear of all Thanksgiving tournaments)
We do all 8 teams make the playoffs, but that's up for discussion
Starting lineup is pretty easy, you can go with just about any position make up, but you have to have at least one guard, one forward, and no more than one center.
Scoring categories:
Pts: 1
Rebs: 2
Assists: 3
Steals: 4
Blocks: 4
Turnovers: -2
Let me know who's interested.
