Despite losing running back Mohamed Ibrahim, the Golden Gophers still return plenty of talent in the backfield in the form of Sean Tyler, Zach Evans, and Darius Taylor. Not only is Minnesota's receiving corps deep, but Kaliakmanis showed intriguing potential in his first opportunity for snaps last fall. The Illinois native connected on 60 of 111 passes for 946 yards and three touchdowns to four picks and rushed for 140 yards and a score. His best performance came in a road win at Wisconsin, as Kaliakmanis threw for 319 yards and two scores against one of the Big Ten's top defenses.
