Minnesota # 8 according to SG1 Sports

#4 Wisconsin
#5 Iowa
#6 Maryland
#7 Illinois
#8. Minnesota
We can finish ahead of those teams if things go well.
1,2,3 Michigan, Ohio St, Penn State all more of a challenge to surpass.

If we're being honest, 4-8 are interchangeable pretty much. Too many unknown variables to tell which team will separate itself in that group. The brutal schedule doesn't work in our favor in the minds of these prognosticators.

Gophs are sixth, IMHO. Depending on how you view Illinois, possibly fifth.

With these groups of teams, it may be down to injuries, bad coaching decisions (BGSU), or one spectacular play. It is Big Ten tough! The important thing is that the Gophers are on the winning side of close games.

The head-to-head battles between the Gophers, Hawkeyes, Badgers, and Fighting Illini will determine the Big Ten West crown winner.
