Number of bowl teams each school is playing. Asterisk notes playing a FCS opponent:

*Illinois (1) -- @ North Carolina

*Indiana (1) -- Western Kentucky

*Iowa (1) -- Pitt

*Maryland (2) -- Bowling Green, @ West Virginia

Michigan (2) -- @ Utah, BYU

Michigan State (4) -- @ Western Michigan, Oregon, Air Force, Central Michigan

Minnesota (2) -- TCU, @ Colorado State

Nebraska (3) -- BYU, South Alabama, @ Miami- Florida

*Northwestern (2) -- Stanford, @ Duke

Ohio State (3) -- @ Virginia Tech, Northern Illinois, Western Michigan

Penn State (1) - San Diego State

*Purdue (3) -- @ Marshall, Virginia Tech, Bowling Green

*Rutgers (0)

Wisconsin (1) -- vs. Alabama

What? Nobody in the Big Ten is playing Notre Dame anymore?

Again some golden opportunities for respect. ... Md @ WV, Mich @ Utah, Ore @ MSU, TCU @ Gophers, Stanford @ Nothwestern, OSU @ Va Tech, and Badgers vs. Bama all stand out.

While I am by no means a "Fightin' Irish" fan per se, it is sad that Notre Dame will not be playing any B1G schools next year. First time since 1916.

Looking ahead I see a ND-MSU home and home in 2016-2017.

I really wish the B1G and the Pac12 would solidify a scheduling agreement - at least among each conference's schools who do not have a permanent P5 OOC opponent. I'm excited for our upcoming Oregon State games; I really liked playing Cal and USC - that kind of thing needs to continue.

I realize that a nine-game conference schedule makes this difficult for all parties concerned.

Also, we need to replace the FCS games on our future schedules with someone else.

Get rid of all FCS games and I think the conference is completely on the right track. No reason to play those. Plenty of FBS teams to go around.

What? Nobody in the Big Ten is playing Notre Dame anymore?

Notre Dame is not a worthy opponent anymore. They are washed up. They should move to D1-AA so they could play NDSU?

No one in the big 10 should play notre dame. They didn't want to join the conference, let them go else where.
