Big shoes to fill: Minnesota

Adam Rittenberg misses on the WR position

Adam Rittenberg failed to mention Isaac Fruechte as a replacement candidate for WR. He is my early candidate for as the most under rated new 2012 player. Filling the shoes of Kim Royston is going to be a challenge but it won’t be for the loss of Da’Jon Mcknight. WR is going to be a position of strength in 2012 and later. One of the things I really like about Kill is how he solves problems, i.e. turn a weakness into strength.

excellent statement, if CKill can come close to improving us as much at safety as it appears we have done at WR, next year will be a lot more fun.
WR is not our biggest probem for next year, or even in the top three. Right now DT depth, MLB, and both safetys are what bother me. Being inexperienced at all three levels up the middle is pretty scary.

What makes me turn purple with anger on GH, is how some knuckle headed chowder puffs claimed we didn't need to recruit at DT a couple years back, "because we are so deep there". This is a position that must be restocked year after year at DT and DE, no matter what or you lose depth. Considering CK wants to rotate throughout the game at this position, we will be short of depth until we add a few more every year. Never skip a beat! Never say we are too full at a position. Recruit for every position every year. Balanced, every year.

I loved to read from DL65 that CK and staff have been evaluating talent and film of our existing team and recruits. This is a non stop process.
