This makes a lot more sense than what they've been doing. Along with the Big Ten/ACC Challenge, there will be a lot more interesting early-season intersectional games starting with the pre-/Thanksgiving tournaments and followed by the two challenges.
The more on-campus games (screw non-tournament neutral-site matchups) of Big Boys vs. Big Boys the better it'll be for the season-ticket paying fan bases. These are more the type of matchups season-ticket holders should be rewarded with, and if you're really lucky the intriguing matchups may -- heaven forbid -- occur more often than (i.e. Minnesota) what equates to once every other season.
