Some quick thoughts:

(1) Gophs getting a lot more ESPN & CBS air time this season.

(2) Road trips to Iowa City (Jan. 2) & Evanston (Feb. 14) made easier with weekend matchups.

(3) 3-game homestand in February (Wisconsin, Indiana & Purdue).

(4) First Sparty-Purdue matchup isn't until Feb. 9, at Breslin.

(5) The Ohio State starts the season with 4 of its first 5 games on the road.

(6) Gophs play final game of the Big 10 season with a 5 p.m. March 7 tilt vs. Iowa at The Barn. Hopefully by then the Gophers have locked up a first-round bye for the Big Ten Tournament.

Still bummed we only play Wisconsin once, and I would have liked to play the Illini at the barn again, that was a fun game to be at last season.

Nice to see us getting more national attention, I expected it, but its nice all the same.

Along with the BT-ACC Challenge and 76 Classic games, that's 10-12 nationally televised games this season. Less travel to the nearest establishment with BTN for me = a good thing.
