Big 10 Bowls

I count 7 "road" games for the B1G (I'm counting everyone except our game, PSU, and Rutgers). It will be a tall order for the conference to show too well...

All 10 B1G teams are currently underdogs in their respective bowl game. Of course that can change the next few weeks before they are played.

It sucks that a lot of the B1G games are darn near home games for their opponents. I know we life further away from the locations and its the nature of the beast, but it sure makes it tougher and contributes to our reputation of being not as good.

You are the master of tempering expectations. I'd be disappointed with a losing record this year.

B1G homer prediction:

OSU-Sugar vs. Alabama
MSU-Cotton vs. Baylor
Maryland-Foster Farms vs. Stanford
Rutgers-Quick Lane vs. North Carolina
PSU-Pinstripe vs. Boston College
Wisconsin-Outback vs. Auburn
Minnesota-Citrus vs. Missouri
Nebraska-Holiday vs. USC
Iowa-TaxSlayer vs. Tennessee
Illinois-Dallas vs. LA Tech

Nebraska is probably the biggest stretch, but honestly think they have a shot to wear down a USC team with zero depth. Best case I think the conference goes 6-4, worst case 2-8.

My sandbagging aside, someone else said the B1G are underdogs in EVERY game. I think it's possible that our conference wins more than they lose, but if that happens the myth that the B1G is "down" should officially be over.

I know many think the Big Ten is down, but I'm not sure why.
