If we can stay in our zone with the twin towers, then you post up whoever Sims is guarding. He is there only good inside player...well he's great. Every play you get Sampson or Iverson the ball, over and over again. If he gets in foul trouble..they are done!

Don't let them keep running the pick and roll with Harris and Sims

+1. We have to stop the two man game they killed us with at the Barn. I have a feeling the zone will be much more effective against them this time around. Gotta make them get back to their game of hucking up 3-pt shots.

Same way we've been playing the last couple of weeks:

Hope they miss 3's.

We can't allow the dribble penetration of Harris and the touches down low from Sims like we did @ Williams.

Expect Michigan to play a lot of the 1-3-1 zone as we have struggled with that against them and Northwestern the last couple of seasons. We need to be able to find a way to get around the zone and get the ball down low - something that we aren't normally able to do vs. that zone.

We should not play to Michigan's strengths. Michigan scores mainly off penetration and transition. At the Barn, we allowed them to score inside, tried to up the tempo, and made lots of turn-overs in transition (giving them their transition points). Our half-court offense is better than theirs. We have a "comparative advantage" there. So, keep it simple and grind them down. That is how other teams have beaten Michigan at Crisler.
