I have 4 seats and parking in Ski-U-Mah. Wondering if I'm going to meet people at my spot for a tailgate what are the best options for them to get there (other than riding with me)?

On campus park at the flats?

Coming from east park at fair and ride the bus? Do they need a ticket to board the bus?

The trek from the Flats to the Ski-U-Mah lot is a pretty good hike. I had people park in the Fairgrounds lot last year tailgate with me in the Ski-U-Mah lot and it worked well. The bus drops them off a block away. No tickets required as far as I know. Another option would be the West Bank Ramps. That shuttle stops, I believe, on the south side of the stadium, but still much less of a walk than from the Flats.

Also, I think the ramp on the corner of University Ave. and Central by St. Anthony Main does a park and ride (maybe that surface lot as well). Not on the East Bank, but it would be really easy to get to the parking lots around the stadium from there.

Yes, they do. They also include free round-trip bus rides for two (via tokens) in the cost of parking. (The ramp, that is - I never tried the surface lot.)

Thanks. Always need to be thinking about growing your tailgate parties!

You don't need a ticket to board the bus. All you need to do to ride the U's shuttles from the fairgrounds or West Bank is to queue up and hop on. =)
