I think we can all agree that this could and would be the best thing to happen to our team Sat. against Purdue.

Actually get a bigger lead than 3 or 7 points for once.

Build that lead to 2+ td's.

Give Gray his chance to see what he can do. Not just running, but let him throw some passes.

Hold onto said lead for the whole game. Make it so Webber isn't needed to come back in the game.

Blow out Purdue.

Could happen. Will it? We will see.

Just win!!!

I will be surprised if we don't see a Purdue team that will be skyhigh jacked up. They are playing for their season. This will be their bowl game. They know that if they lose, they are out for sure.

Our team should expect a dogfight. Perhaps if we can get up big early, they will enter into a doubt fight with themselves. Otherwise, I think we will get there very best shot.

With that said, I think we can beat this team. After seeing Best and Clay, I think we can slow Purdue's ground attack. I watched part of their game against NU this morning, and I am convinced of that. Not to slight him, he is dangerous, but I didn't see the power and speed of Best or the raw brawn of Clay. The key will be to get pressure on their QB with the base D so he doesn't open up the run game with the pass.

Anyway, a blowout would certainly be nice, but I'll be more than happy with a win. Any way it comes.

PU has as easy BT schedule possible. No Iowa and PSU. They need a BT win as they face OSU next week after losing to NU. They finish with Illilni. Wisky, Michigan, MSU and IU. According to the final scores, this team has been in four close games.
