Best half of ball in the Tubby era

After a lackluster first half in which we allowed Cornell to control the tempo and dictate the style of play, we played a fantastic second half and the defense was awesome. It's amazing how our transition game completely opened up in the second half due to the great D. It's a lot of fun watching the frosh continue to grow. We can't afford Nolen or DJ to get in foul trouble in the BT season.

Hopefully Hoffarber's injury isn't too severe.

At halftime I turned to the guy that sits next to me and said the Gophers are going to have to play far & away their best half of basketball this season in order to win the game. Cornell was impressive in the first half and really had the Gophers on their heels. Mission accomplished. Though not nearly a full house, The Barn came to life in the second half. Don't know if it will happen this season (NCAA), but these are heady times to be a Gopher basketball fan. The future is bright, and the end of the rainbow is in sight.
