Would be nice to see Edwards and Williams get some touches besides just Smith and Brooks. You will keep them all healthy if you can find a few situations where you can mix in Williams and Edwards back there some.

They are there for experience and insurance. We don't need to find time for 4 backs. They don't play both ways.

Edwards could be making some meaningful contributions to this team as could a few other players. Coaches don't utilize all their weapons on this team. We have a tough, moody and quirky coaching staff. They've certainly been effective, but puzzling at times.

personally, i would try to get him on the field in a variety of ways. i'd have to experiment of course. two back sets. slot position. once he dropped the pass vs. Missouri (perhaps, big perhaps, due to the sun) they seemed to give up on him. he was wide open. i ain't no genius, but i like the teams that utilize multiple weapons. it seems to me they under utilize Edwards, Gentry, Wozniak and Streveler. Just my opinion. Not saying I'm right.

As a RB, seems to offer less shiftiness than 24 and 27. He's an 190 pound north south runner. That's great if we can open up some holes. Not so great if we can't.
