Nice! If you're going to sell beer may as well maximize the sales. $$$$$$

This might persuade Dr. Don to come down for a game.

Other schools jumping on the beer bandwagon

Troy athletic director John Hartwell estimated beer would account for $200,000 in commissions this season. According to its contract with concessionaire Sodexo, Troy will receive 43 percent of gross beer sales at its 30,000-seat stadium, or better than $2 for every $5 beer.

Methinks Teague should hire AD Hartwell, since he seems to understand how to negotiate with concessionaires.

And beer will be sold throughout the stadium. This was all expected.

2012..
Anyway, I think there will be beer & wine flowing (sold) throughout the stadium in the next couple of years.

I recall dpo (after saying general public alcohol sales would never (x70) happen) wanting to have Jerry Kill asked about his thoughts on beer sales to students and general seating alike at the U... can't imagine it's ever been asked or addressed by Kill, but I would be curious to hear his comments if they have. Anyone ever hear Kill talk about offering up alcohol to all at TCF Bank?

It's shocking to me that people try to chase you off this site, when you provide such great prognostication.

If it wasn't for the new Vike stadium, would the beer still be in the beer garden only?

No. It has nothing to do with the Vikings being there. Not only that, but there was never a beer garden unless you call every place where beer can be purchased a "beer garden". There were two locations where beer sales took place the past two years. Now there will be many more.

Not saying it's good or bad - just saying the U eased into it for political / PR reasons. Their intent and timeline was pellucid to an objective third eye.

I think I still owe you a Coke at a basketball game.
