The weather looks great for October football! Just remember though the high in the mid 50s will likely be reached after the game is over. After a chilly morning, game time temperatures will likely range from the mid 40s at kickoff to the low 50s by the end of the game.

WCCO just predicted that it would be 48 degrees at 11:00 and 58 at 2:00. Sounds like a perfect Fall Football and a drink weather.

Sounds like a perfect day for a 2:00 PM kickoff.


Just another thing to think about with these TV start times.

It's these game times that had me cancel my season tickets, with my boys playing games those days in the morning. We could have made all the 2:30 games this year.

Don't read this as a reason to change it, there is far more going into scheduling times than worrying about what unregistered user is doing Saturday mornings, but until my boys are playing Friday nights, I'm not getting my season tix back.

It sucks, but we're having a great time watching, and replaying the games in real time at home. It sure doesn't compare to being there...nothing does. We can always watch the replay when we get home.
 




Bring your sunglasses and a Maroon and/or Gold jacket. Still 46-48 degrees at kick-off and mid-50's when we celebrate that victory! Hopefully at least. :eek:
 

11am games are my absolute favorite time. It's pure college football. Sun overhead, a nice crisp feel in the air, and you get to savor your victory the rest of the day watching the other games. Breakfast tailgates are fantastic too.

I agree. I love the morning at this time of year when it is cool with no wind but the sun is so warm.
 

Best day ever, weather wise, since the Metrodome. Really.
