Everybody knows that FBS success does not necessarily transfer up to the BCS level - Hawkins alone is proof of that. Therefore, if you want to reduce risks as much as possible, you'll want someone with BCS experience. However, most of the various lists posted on this board have very few guys with BCS experience. I know I'll miss someone, but a BCS only list would include:
Harbaugh (dreaming)
Bellotti
Mullen
Mike Stoops
Bowden
Leach (very doubtful)
Fulmer (very doubtful)
Maturi has said that one candidate who has expressed interest is a name that has not circulated in the media. Are there any other BCS coaches who would make any sense? Should the candidates listed above be given priority over the FBS coaches being mentioned?
