Who all went to the Gopher Basketball Banquet last night? It was my first time, and I thought it was a very good experience! Lots of fun!
 



The buffet line slowed to a crawl, which made Rodney hesitant about what to choose to eat. He responded by standing off to the side and deferring to others.
 

I bet Trevor dropped his plate.
 




Overheard:
"What's all the commotion?"
"I think someone just told Elliot that he is using the wrong fork."
 

I heard Saul left when he found out there was no happy hour.
 





I heard Wally was late and just chucked everything on his plate.

Halvorsen and Shell didn't get to eat at all.
 

I heard Tubby told Wally that he could either watch the team eat and then have a feast later in the night or he could eat just crumbs with the team, he chose the latter and them got upset that he was hungry.
 




The buffet line got confused because they were supposed to have roast beef, but Tubby made a last-minute lineup change and started the ham instead.
 


The team started out eating like gangbusters but later hit the wall and threw up all over.
 

I hear the servers were confused because all the basketball players were just standing around waiting for something to happen.
 




The '97 team showed up and even signed the guest book. Their names, however, were erased the next day.
 

I heard that it was the best banquet ever until about half way through, when everyone started looking pale and shat themselves all at once. Then the service staff cleaned up and gave everyone brand new clothes and it was great for about 2 minutes and then the team shat themselves again. No worries tho...everyone got invited to the after party.

But seriously though, does anyone know how it actually went?
 




Banquets = Buffets. I once dated a gal and invited her to dinner. She said to me, "I'm not really very hungry, I'll just have the buffet."
