Longtime strength & conditioning coach Brian Bott has quit the Bucky program. He started with Alvarez and his crew back in the day. The fans in Madison are gearing up for another Don Morton era. Stay tuned for more drama! Go Gophers!!:clap::clap::clap:

It's Pretty Obvious

The Wisconsin staff had obviously cooled on him. :p

I can't say (yell) this enough. Let's just beat them once and have the yearly summer predictions of their downfall actually prove to be true by late November before we start predicting their WIAC status.

I don't care if they lose all their coaches and need to hire Johnny Moxon to coach the team.

This really doesn't matter until the Gophs actually win a game.

Good old Snoozer. Doesn't want to ruffle his Buckyville friends so he can post on their site. What a total fraud.

Agreed. I'd love to beat them and/or finish ahead of them as much as anyone else, and it also annoys me when some posters get scolded for bashing Wisconsin because we haven't beaten them in forever, but the "Badger player breaks toenail, Wisconsin won't make a bowl for the next five years!" predictions come across as a little bit pathetic to me.

I guess I don't see the loss of a strength and conditioning coach as a program killer. Hopefully I am wrong.

I also heard that one of the football secretaries quit last week and one of the janitors in Camp Randall got deported.

It's gonna be a long year in Madison :cool02:

Oh boy. Hadn't seen that until you quoted him because I have had him on my ignore list for a long time. I think he does stuff like that simply because he knows I won't see it. Ironic comments considering at my current pace it will take me around 4000 more years to catch up to Ruppert in Buckyville posts. I have had one so far in 2013. Also, now that I have lowered myself to respond, I'm sure he'll crank out some more doozies. Considering all the people that question or call him out on here, I'm not quite sure why he takes such great interest in me.

Wisconsin strength and conditioning is actually a huge part of their program especially with their O-line, hopefully the new guy will run a less disciplined program

Schnauzer is a good man.

Roopie: You are a childish twerp. Even your "own" board agrees on that.

MorningCalm, I'm curious as to why you and other Badger fans (presumably ones that you think are "good men" and not "childish twerps") didn't rip EricTheeRed when he wrote this after losing in-state Elmore to the Gophers:

"Nothing like the short drive home after a loss. And that's especially true after a Goldy games because it's normally delayed 30 minutes for the various on-field seizures from the head coach."

Go Gophers!!

I don't think losing the S&C coach isn't as important as the timing. During the summer period before camp, the S&C coach is the only coach allowed to work with the players, it seems to me the worst possible time to lose your S&C coach.

Strength & Conditioning coaches are a dime a dozen. They will find a suitable replacement relatively quickly. In the meantime I'm sure they have plenty of assistants or other personnel that are familiar with the Summer workouts and they won't miss a beat.

Good ones are not a dime a dozen.

Sure you like Snoozer. He comes over to Buckyville and bends over for you clowns. I'm a twerp?
You're POS that keeps posting over here. I quit posting on Beckyville almost two years ago. Actually if you check the archives you'll probably see Snoozer has made a kiss ass post over there most recently.

Doc Don will be happy about the bending over part. :)

I wish the ignore list could be extended to ignored people being quoted by other people. I have to read it anyway. :(

Ruppert... perhaps you could put me on your ignore list too? I'd appreciate it and you might find your visits to GH to be more relaxing.

And for what it is worth, I am very glad you aren't posting on Buckyville anymore. Smart move on your part.

parski, you have a lot to learn. I never have a patient Ben Dover without a good Head Nurse. (btw, she is the one with the dirty knees.)

Good ones are not a dime a dozen.

Can anyone name 2 or 3 S & C coaches in America (FBS, FCS) that are not considered "good?"

May include non football S & C coaches, too.

May include D2 as well....
