It doesn't explicitly state that they couldn't say their own team there, but I'm assuming it's just poorly worded and that players couldn't state their own team.

Good point. Then I'm really curious. I'm not saying that they won't be an improved team and don't have a chance to win each game. But I can't imagine even the most rosy of die-hard fans considers the Gophers a "favorite" to win the Big Ten.
