B1G Bowl Season Starts Tonight

I will be pulling for all the B1G teams to win, but I'm sure at some point I will start cheering for TCU without control. What do people think the B1G will do recordwise? I think 3-6.

Looks like I've got 5-4.
 

I have Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Ohio State winning. Northwestern, Michigan State, Penn State losing.

6-3 is my guess.
 

I do not count Nebraska, they were not in the Big 10 this season.

Mizzou, Baylor, TT, Bama, Florida, Mississippi State, Wisconsin & Ohio State are winning.

That is why we count Nebraska to get another win.
 


The B1G has matched up with the SEC very well in the past. I hope our conference again surprises us in this way. However, on paper it looks like some really tough matchups and a lot of pitfalls to make the conference look bad. The conference is actually 'up' this season overall but right now I don't think it will play out that way in the bowls. Just a lot of bad matchups for our conference. That isn't to mention Iowa fading so badly and thin thanks to all the off-field trouble they have been having. Ohio State has plenty of distractions. MSU lost a top receiver (I think?). No Persa for NW and they are a different team without him. Illinois looked bad down the stretch. I am hoping for some surprises because we all know how the national media loves to jump on the conference when it doesn't do well.

I am hoping to see the Big Ten win all of it's games, of course I am also hoping win the Powerball Wednesday. I don't think it will be a good year for the Big Ten, but I would love to be wrong.

6 and 3 in the bowls would be a very good year for the Big Ten.

If BTN can call Cappelletti a Big 10 Icon we can call Nebraska a Big 10 team in 2011 bowl games.;)
 

Well, who saw that Iowa victory coming? I admit I didn't see it. That team totally looked like it was floundering when they visited the Brickhouse. that was a very good Missouri team they took down last night. I hope this is a sign of things to come and the Big 10 puts up a good fight in the bowls. I haven't checked the Vegas lines. Were ANY Big 10 teams favored in bowls? Ohio State?
