I thought this article deserved its own thread:

"Coach Kill has been amazing, more than anyone could ask for," Connor said. "He has made me as much a part of this team as anyone."

The only thing that has changed is Connor's role, providing inspiration and motivation where he can. He still feels like a vital member of the team.

"I am in chemotherapy right now and I'm going through some hard stuff," he said. "To have some stability in the family we have here on this football team, to have this environment to go home to every day, it's great. I don't feel any less a part of the team than any member."

Go Gophers!!

Very inspiring, Bleed. Thanks for the link.

Of course something good that Coach Kill is doing here will in no way get near the attention that something negative does, be it the news media, radio, or even GopherHole.

According to some people here coach Kill uses illnesses to distract people. This must be just another example of him doing it again. Oh wait, this information came from Connor.

Obviously Kill forced him to talk about it.
