Trying to stay positive here. In BT play, Austin Hollins is 16 of 27 (59.3%) from beyond the arch. That's tops in conference play so far.

Andre Hollins is 13 of 26 also.

The 3 point shooting is something that has been a little suprising lately. I think a lot of people worried about how we would shoot the 3 but we have been shooting it very well and seemed to be vey improved in that area and I think that is another reason for optimism as well.

Thank you for posting that about Austin. It's a little hard to stay extremely positive after last nights debacle, but here was Austin's stat line vs. the Wolverines:

38 minutes
21 points
4/7 from 3
7/12 overall
6 rebounds - 3 off. 3 def.
3 assists
4 steals
0 turnovers

His performance last night was INCREDIBLE. People talk about a lot of different players being the "most important", but without Austin's consistency the Gophers would have been embarrassed in their last two games.

Now let's get going here and win the next 8 games.

Plus it appeared during the final 10 minutes of the NW game, that without Austin the team lacked anyone capable of stepping up, penetrate the 1-3-1, hit a shot and steady the ship. It was a team without confidence.
