I say yes, Rodney needs some bench time and we need Trevor and Colton on the floor to deal with Sullinger and Dallas.

I hope he starts. The BIG lineup has not done well starting the last two games and I think it is better to bring Colt off the bench.

IMHO.
 


My ideal starting lineup includes Austin, but doesn't send Rodney to the bench. IMO we need Trevor and Ralph together. Trevor to bang with him and Ralph to bring him away from the hoop. Trevor is every bit (if not more) physical than Jared and having Trevor and Colton banging will just lead to foul after foul.

Gopher AD website still lists RSIII, Colt, Trevor, Rodney, and Blake as projected starters.

I like this line-up as well.
Colt can spell Trevor and Ralph.
Chip can spell Rodney.
Mav can spell(on a limited basis) Blake and Austin.

Keeps the players in their more natural positions.

I love Colt but if he starts what is the over/under for when he gets his second foul?

As discussed in another thread, he seems to NOT get calls.

This natrual positoins thing is overrated, forget it; guards - forwards - big men.

Ralph plays like (or trys to play like) a small forward, but has board-hands and is tall and slow like a center.
 

Threads like this should really be ended with a question mark, instead of stating it as fact. You're stating your opinion, and asking for others' opinion. Your statement made it appear as though you had the scoop...pretty misleading.
 

My pet peeve

Those misleading headlines. Hollins needs to be in there. Otherwise we only have one guy that can hit from the outside. Cant win consistently like that. Will also help our free throwing and defense. I cant get confidence in our offense with one good outside shooter.

I actually intended to put the question mark and then jumped down to my comment.... sorry, doesn't let me edit the title.
 



How many games has Austin started? 3-5 is my guess, none in the Big Ten yet though.

Agreed, went from excitement to shear disappointment.

My starting lineup for tomorrow would be:

Chip
Hoff
Austin
Trevor
Sampson

I like Hoff to bring the ball up the court if they are pressuring the inbound, then let Chip take over in the half court with Hoff going back to SG. Rodney needs a wake up call, there is absolutely zero reason why he should be starting over Austin.

Marcus tweeted earlier tonight that Tubby suggested he might start Hollins on Sunday. I was hoping this thread was confirmation of that rumor. bummer. :( I am hopeful Marcus' info is good.
