Six Republicans risked political destruction to stand for true election integrity. That's what makes them our 2021 Arizonans of the Year.

The great victory of the 2020 election wasn’t the ascent of a candidate or cause or ballot initiative. It was the triumph of democracy against a plot to subvert and overturn the results of a presidential election. Under assault by a sitting president and his high-wattage attorneys and operatives, a group of principled election officials, judges and other officeholders across the country steadfastly carried out their duties to deliver an honest outcome. They did it in a nation cleaved by political division and teeming with tribal hatreds.

Most notable because of the pressure they faced from their own voters and party, were: Maricopa County Supervisors Clint Hickman, Jack Sellers and Bill Gates; Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer; Arizona House Speaker Rusty Bowers; and state Sen. Paul Boyer. For the three supervisors, that included legal threats from the state Senate controlled by their fellow conservatives.

The Arizona Republic recognizes these six as the 2021 Arizonans of the Year for their integrity under fire, their backbone to stand against the high-pressure tactics of a president of the United States and for their unwillingness to yield to high authority in the state Legislature that had so obviously lost its bearings.

I remember Hillary tweeting that Joe Biden needs to have the courage to send things back to the states.

The left sort of became concerned about violence when the polling indicated they should.
100%. Their enabling of it nearly cost them the Presidency. They still are the party of pro-violence and anti-police tho. Actions speak louder than words.

Hillary knew she had no case...you are forgetting that she actually made up the Russian narrative. Kind of a key fact..... Asking for an investigation would have led back to her. Not something she wanted. Trump on the other hand realizes that the election being stolen was a real issue.

You didn't think that one through.

There were lots of theories out there as to how and why the election was stolen. But none of them were manufactured by Trump himself. Trump wanted the theories he was hearing, investigated.

Hillary on the other handed, actually invented the story that Trump was inviting election interference from Russia. You are really flailing here. Might be time for some snark from you now. That is your go to card when you actually have no real point.

You start with the idea that something is fact, and then backfill it with the mythology to support it. Look at your very first sentence--how and why, but not if.

And Bannon was working 24/7 to muddy the waters, to make people feel comfortable objecting to vote certification. Even if the ideas were fabricated, and impossible.

The fact is the election was very likely stolen. There are 419 million reasons. One of the questions was whether the election was accessible on the internet. Dominion officials and even government officials lied and said it was not. The problem with that is that it isn't the truth. It was connected. Once they found that out, it opened up a lot of theories, some true some false. You are focusing on one that is very very likely false because that confirms your view that makes everything about a stolen election false. Thousands of dead voters, destroyed chain of custody on votes, huge problems with accountability, hundreds of thousands of machine adjudicated votes, 419 million spent by private interests and you can just wave it all away because of a false rumor. Very convenient.

There is a very good chance that a lot of those theories were actually invented by people in intel agencies who were all in to get rid of Trump. It's a distraction from the core issue that the election was stolen, right on the ground. In my view, there is little doubt that QAnon, for instance, was an intel agency psyop, designed to destroy Trump supporters and to some degree it worked.

If that sounds ridiculous, then what were Feds doing planning the kidnapping of Gretchen Whitmer? There were more Feds in on that one than crazy right wing radicals.

A lot of theories. Space lasers. Secret German servers. Thousands of ballots delivered in the dark of night. But what we know for certain is that it was stolen. No doubt.

Seek help.
Look at this threesome you got
