I have Ron Musselman from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette lined up for a Q & A ... he is their Penn State beat guy ... what Penn State questions do you want answered?
Sat. should be fun ... I say, even as a 15 point underdog, it's a winnable game, although we know as little about Penn State as any team in the country this deep into the season, so sort of contradicting myself ... they've played 1 average to good team (Iowa) and lost.

The question is

What is the best way to attack Penn State. What is their weakness? Then the coaches can come into the gopher hole and read it as they always do to prepare for the next game---set the game plan-- and we have a win.

Why in God's name did they have to lose to Iowa???

Why does a team that is this well established feel it needs to put together a schedule like they have? Cupcakes a-plenty. Does it help or hurt their ability to build a strong national reputation and ranking?

Ask him if Weber or Gray should be playing......if BPT sucks or not.....if our student section is lame....prolly a few others I can't think of right now:rolleyes:

If they had gone undefeated for the year did they really expect to get picked for the BCS championship game with that collection of high school teams they played in their OOC?

First, thank you Doogie for inviting us to participate. I hope you get some great questions from the Hole.

Question: What weaknesses in the Gopher's team do you think PSU will try to take advantage of?
Question 2: What are you guys feeding Joe Pa? He just keeps going and going and going.

Question: Are there any pass protection weaknesses?
Question: Has PSU gone against a 3-4 look and been successful?
Question: Does your punter/kicker provide enough loft to slow down the special team threats of the Gophers?

Joe Pa retirement in 2010? will next coach accept a 200K job? I think that is what JP makes.

How is the health of the Penn St linebackers?
what are the overall strength and weaknesses of the penn state team?

On defense: Pressure Clark. He is too good to sit back and play a soft zone against. We must pressure him or he'll pick our defense apart. Iowa has shown that he will make mistakes if we can get to him. At the same time we need to limit big plays in the running game but this game comes down to pressuring Clark.

On offense: The PSU secondary is the weakest unit in their defense. They lead the Big Ten in sacks so we must remain balanced to keep the D-line honest but the big plays are more likely to come through the air than on the ground.

Question:If the Moon was made of bbq spare ribs would you eat it?
Don't let him duck this question.

Why does he think this game was a preseason pick for the afternoon national tv slot?

It's not really a rivalry, and most would have guessed PSU would have Minnesota outmatched.

Question: As one of the premier teams in the B10, does PSU feel some sort of responsibility to schedule tougher teams in order to boost the national perception of our conference?
