per Athlons:

10. Richard Pitino, Minnesota
Record: 18-14
Record at Minnesota: First season
NCAA Tournament: None
Pitino showed immediately why he’s more than just a famous name. FIU’s basketball program was a mess after three seasons under Isiah Thomas, but Pitino led the Golden Panthers to the brink of the NCAA Tournament in a two-point loss to Western Kentucky in the Sun Belt Tournament final. The 11-9 season in conference was FIU’s first winning league record since 1999-2000.

Go Gophers!!

Looks about right, my only gripe is I think Painter should be ahead of Crean

I guess because they are looking at "career trajectory" as part of their criteria, I can buy Beilein ahead of Ryan and Crean ahead of Painter. 10th is the best Pitino/Minnesota could hope for given the criteria for the list.

I can't say that I have a major problem with any of the rankings. It is a reminder of how stacked with elite coaching this conference is again.
