per Athlon list, regardless of position:

34. Greg Eslinger, C, Minnesota (2002-05)
Not many centers have an Outland Trophy on their mantle at home but Eslinger does. He was a freshman All-American in 2002, a third-team All-American as a sophomore, a first-teamer in '04 and earned consensus All-American honors as a senior. He won the Rimington Trophy as the nation’s top center and earned Big Ten Lineman of the Year honors in ’05. Minnesota never had a losing record during his four-year career. - See more at: http://athlonsports.com/college-foo...football-players-bcs-era#sthash.dBTAnqdt.dpuf

Go Gophers!!

Best college offensive lineman I have ever seen play.

Completely unique set of skills.

Utterly untransferable, alas.

He dropped from last year, was #29. Kind of lazy to use the same exact write-up.

Eslinger was such a great interior lineman. One of the best at the college level that I remember watching play.

He was a center that could get out and move like a fullback. At the time it was so unique to have a center that could pull and become a lead blocker coming around the end of the line. Eslinger, Setterstrom and the rest were not the biggest guys in the world but man could they clear the way for Barber, Maroney, and Russell.
