Here’s the current schedule for the Athletes Village included in the RFP for Soil Testing Services on the Purchasing Services web site.


The highlights:

Earthwork: Beginning 2/15/16 and completed 7/21/16

Center for Excellence & Basketball Practice Facility: Completed 12/29/17

Football Performance Center: Completed 11/27/17

Indoor Football Practice Facility: 11/28/17

Substantial Completion: 1/5/18

So it will be ready ten to twelve years after we punched ourselves in the face by admitting to Tubby that we needed to have better training facilities.

I wonder how we can make up for those years of self-hobbled recruiting?

We also heard how great recruiting would be when we got in TCF. It's all a game. Recruiting isn't better, product isn't better, its just about money. We'll get the practice facility and first thing we'll hear is about how old and antiquated Williams arena is.
