In football, we have offensive and defensive coordinators and position coaches. In basketball, are there position coaches, coordinators or special skills coaches? What duties are typically assigned to assistant coaches?
Some assistant coaches are more ont he scouting end, others specialize in a position and work with them (big men). Most coaches have a variety of strengths during practice and are flexible.
