...it's got to feel ten times worse being a Wildcat fan today. Great comeback, had a lot of calls go their way at the end, but couldn't pull it off. Nice try 'cats, you'll catch a break in bowl season eventually.

Maybe so, but converting all those fourth downs and the creativity on the two-point conversion would be something I could embrace ... especially after the ineptitude we witnessed offensively this season.

Agree with Doogie...

Their players and coaches seem so much more poised than ours. Had we been the team going for 2 to tie; there would have been mass confusion; a timeout (or two); and then a poor play call.

Doog, I think there is a post containing a positive aspect about the gophers that might have slipped to page two without you poo-pooing it.

You are almost correct. We wouldn't have had any timeouts left.

Funny! Happy New Year i'm batman. I continue to love Kirksey, Edwards, and Wilhite. McKnight's future appears bright. There's some positivity for you.

Double whammy

The problem for me is, I got f'd on both games. In addition to my lack of judgment in betting the Gophers, I included NW winning OUTRIGHT on a small 4-team parlay.

Not a good 24 hours for me, further reinforcing why I stopped betting football a while back

my new years resolution is to try not to be such an ass.

i am a work in progress.

I would trade our program and coach for Northwestern's program and coach in a heartbeat.
