I wish "journalists" would stop using tweets as quotes and just paraphrase them. Seeing tweets in internet-speak in actual newspapers makes me want to stab myself.
 

In hindsight, suspending him from games was probably right, but from the team was probably not. If you wanted a good outcome, he needed to be brought in closer not pushed away. If he was away from home with no other family around perhaps the banishment would have been a good tact. But really the U just forced him to spend more time with the element that is causing all his troubles and making it hard to make the better choices. it's all a shame. Too bad. Hopefully he'll see soon, before he closes the door, that it's not an insurmountable situation.

Much like Brett Favre, I'll believe this is really over when the U announces he has officially withdrawn from school and his scholarship is open.
