Golden Gopher of University of Minnesota, I am. ;) As an admitted Star Wars nerd, I will say that I am a big fan of this stuff.

Read that this new apparel is available now at top retailers such as Kohls and Old Navy, and the entire range will roll out to campus stores nationwide this fall. The U of M was one of only 50 select universities asked to participate. Sorry, Iowa you didn't make the cut. Guess they figured with the obesity of most of your fans that the production costs for that much fabric would kill the return on investment. Also, no Ohio State, Michigan State or Indiana. The rest of the Big Ten is available though.

I believe they excluded Iowa because there's nothing available in overalls. Also, I'm surprised Stanford isn't one of the schools listed. You would think they would far and away be the best seller. Just sayin'.

I was ambivalent about this until I remembered something about p*********k being a Star Wars nerd. The thought of no Iowa participation puts a smile on my face.

I would have thought Stanford would have been far, far away the best seller.

In all seriousness, they'd better make youth sizes. My kids would love this.

Say what you want, call me a nerd, but I really like these. See link to Kohl's website I included for a preview of what is available. And they're on sale right now. Especially digging the Storm Trooper version and all of the Darth Vader ones. :)

P.S. Whether for yourself, the kids or a family member/friend, these all look like a great gift items. I would be psyched if someone bought for me to add to my Gopher game day and everyday gear.

NO THANKS!!! I'd have nightmares of *********** standing over me wielding a light sabre. Or, worse yet, saying: "STP. I am your father"...
 

Meh......I figured that they would try to incorporate Goldy into it......maybe as a jedi or something. These aren't anything special.

I like the shirts, but I wish they would have used the Goldy head instead of the M on some of them.
