I'm thinking the only possible game we could win is Purdue. I have no interest in watching us lose by 60 to John Clay next week. And I don't think I'm going to any more home games unless it is to see JoePa one last time. Ohio St. and Iowa will both destroy us, so there is no reason to see those. I'm just hoping we actually score on Iowa this year. That would be nice.

Then stop watching all together if that is your criteria.

Worst."fan".ever

also consider why Tubby is here....because attendance at Gopher BB collapsed and Monson got fired during the season, not just because they were losing, but when the fans don't show.......maybe an empty stadium will hasten the decision and an assistant can finish out the season.

Well, considering I'm a certified masochist, this has been the most watchable since 2007!!

Student Section was nearly non-existent today...

I don't see the Gophers winning any of their other home games this year. I agree that Purdue is their best chance to get a win but I wouldn't go out and bet the farm on the boys coming back from West Lafayette with a W. I might say Illinois but looking at the way they played Ohio State today, I'm not going to be getting my hopes up too much for that one either.

classic ass bag "gopher fan" not going to support the team because you think we will lose! i dont understand what the hell is wrong with a lot of you "fans" this team could lose every game and im going to watch the games whether at the stadium or at home. im going to always support them whether i like the coach or not. whether i think the back up qb is better than the starter and so on. stay home your not a fan

The difference here is I don't begrudge you your opinion or think you are lesser of person when I don't agree with you. I don't and won't attack your character. I'm sorry you think that works as discourse.

We'll see what happens this year, but if somehow, someway Brewster isn't fired, I will have to speak with the only option I have, my wallet. I will not buy season tickets again with him as coach.

Perfect example of a bandwagon fan. Absolutely disgusting.

Keep your heads up gopher fans, things are bound to get better. It was a good game today, could have gone either way. Dont stop supporting your team. NO MATTER WHAT!

All the games are watchable, and living halfway across the country, between ESPN and the Big Ten Network I'm just thankful that all the games will be on TV so that I'll be able to watch them all.

The loss today was obviously highly disappointing, but the game itself was very watchable. Very, very close and exciting white-knuckle type game as most of our games against NU tend to be. Any time a game comes down to the very last play, I consider that an exciting and watchable game.

We had our moments and we had our chances. It just didn't work out today, but if anything, this can probably only hasten Brewster's eventual departure.

I have no problem watching the games, but I do have a problem with seeing Brewster on the sidelines. The guy is an absolute moron that does not know the first thing about coaching and must be fired. As long as I do not see him on the tv and I have no problem watching gopher games.

Set up a 2nd tv for another game. When they show Brewster, just turn your head and watch the other game.

Sucks for you. You'll lose your 'points'. BTW, you can still buy season tix and sell them. Maybe not make back your money, but at least you won't see the travesty of a loss in person (or at all). Then when things get turned around, you can be like every other Minnesota sports 'fan' (bandwagon) and come back. =)

Really?! From my perspective, in the student section, my immediate area was pretty wild. Albiet that was mostly because my friends and I were showing the undergrads how it's done. But that's just how it was around me, did it look dead on tv?

Im gonna be at the Purdue game so I'm hoping for a competitive contest.
