Many of you I'm sure remember watching the then St Louis Rams roughly 20 years ago with Warner, Bruce, Holt, Akim, and Faulk. When I watch Morgan, Johnson, Bateman, CAB, and Smith, I can't help but notice the similarities. The execution particularly in the passing game looks so smooth and flawless at times.

Does anyone else see this?

I hadn't thought of it until you mentioned it, but, yes; I see some similarities. The Gophers' offense is more run-oriented, I think, but just as creative — albeit in a different way.

I watched almost the entire Iowa-Wisconsin tilt. After watching the Gophers, those two teams' offenses look plodding, staid and conservative. Like something from a previous era.
