we are lucky that green went pro, otherwise we would probably see Iowa in the rose bowl this year.
 


After we beat OSU, its a given that they make the Rose Bowl, even after Iowa loses to us.
 

As long as Iowa losses at some point (and then again to us) and doesn't play for a national championship. I've been talking up 6 national titles for years now to all of my Iowa buddies and couldn't stomach them getting there.

Agreed. Just to be safe, let's hope Florida/Bama and Texas run the table.
 




if iowa goes to the rose bowl, they get smoked like they always do, and we get to hear about the fact they went for the next 10 years......usc rolls them by 30

if they go to the national championship they get rolled by 30

this is the big 10 right?

Greene had no choice. He registered for classes last fall and never showed up after that. A real great student that one. I'll never know how he got elegible the second time after his furniture store stint, but I guess at Iowa anything is possible.
 

I'd rather see Iowa in the Rose Bowl over OSU.
 


LOL, it had nothing to do with luck. That dude was a one-and-done all the way ... never went to class as another poster mentioned (and was commonly known). Apparently that doesn't matter at Iowa as long as you're a good player.

If Tramaine Brock had gone to Iowa he'd still be playing.
