Does anyone know if Coach Kill has made any new offers? Or if any of the commits other thatn LaCosse have changed their minds>

According to MV at the FBT blog, Kill and staff have offered Hutchinson CC (KS) running back Jamal Womble. He's a 230 lb. back that also has offers from Pitt and Texas A&M. He also may get an offer from USC. If they do offer, it sounds like no one else has a shot at him.

Foster Bush has decommitted from NIU and will follow Kill to Minnesota.

Womble makes a lot of sense. He is one of those Kansas JuCo guys, originally slated to go to North Carolina. Northern Illinois had already offered him, so it makes a lot of sense that Kill would still be recruiting him here at MN.

Womble would give us much more even distribution. It would be nice to have another guy with some experience (besides Kirkwood) after Bennett and Eskridge leave. Furthermore, he is the big back we've been missing.

Hey Bob_Loblaw

I thought you were supposed to have all of the inside info...
There is another recruit coming in this weekend...

Who could it be?????

Guess we will see who is dumber than a box of rocks this fall...

Let me know how the crow tastes....

I don't have any inside info whatsoever. I don't know where you got that impression. I knew about Levine coming in for an official was from the rivals website. Honestly, I have no idea about what crow I am supposed to be eating, but if it helps the Gophers I will grab a big ole spoon.

From looking at your previous posts Mr. Campion, I apologize if I insulted your kid. If you notice, I did say that I wish him luck but I questioned his intelligence OR if his head was screwed on straight.

The reason I did wasn't from any sort of plug into the program but because of common sense. The kid had an entire year of doing nothing but lifting and getting his grades in order to enroll (last fall) and he wasn't able to do that (whole year after HS). I simply said it looks like he doesn't have the smarts to get into the U (where would I get that from?) or he is a bit of a head case (not putting forth the effort to qualify for school). If he really is visiting AND he qualifies academically, it looks like he didn't have his head screwed on straight for a bit. I really did mean it when I said that I wished him nothing but the best of luck, even when I thought he was going to go to NDSU.

I really didn't say that I didn't think he would be a Gopher from inside information but from common sense. I hope that I am wrong and that he is the ball player a lot of us thought he was going to be.

Bjorklund OT will be at NDSU, watching Marshall Bjorklund dominate ont he bball court tomorrow.

NDSU had an amazing run in the playoffs, they are hitting the road hard this week, look for some offers, Bohl knows Kill real well, should be fun watching them butt heads, especially if NDSU is going to be a FCS Powerhouse for the next few years and we have 5-6 studs from twin cities.

TE John Rabe decommitted from NIU, Kill could probably land him if he wants to. Might not be a bad idea, he's a juco guy and with Lacosse decommitting and Lair being a senior...

Go away.

I wonder if having the same last name as a member of the basketball team is a recruiting advantage. Someone, check and see if there are any 4 star WR's named Hoffarber or blue chip DB named Mbakwe.

He doesn't seem to be a too highley touted guy but I would rather offer the borderline MN recruits (Veldman, Bjorklund, Jameer Jackson or even Eric Kline or Wyatt Peiffer) than a 2 star JuCo TE who isn't at a position of need this season.

That said, Jerry Kill obviously knows more about this stuff than I do, I just don't see where this kid would contribute much more than 1 season (behind Lair and Eure this season)

But we could certainly use more TE depth.

Anyone heard anything about Bisch or Ngekia? I thought Ngekia was a WR in HS, so I would imagine he might have even more developing before he can contribute, but I know Bisch was a pretty decent HS football player. Anyone heard if they expect much from him at any point in his career?
