I already find myself wondering if there will be a trickle-down effect to her coverage of the team.
If she keeps this up, will that inadvertently put pressure on the other beat writers to work harder and generate more material? It wouldn't look good to be out-shined by the new kid on the block.
The columnists are a lost cause; the Reusse's and Souhan's are set in their ways, and good chunk of that is just plain being lazy.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of what she produces. A little new blood is a good thing sometimes.
