It sounds like Tubby finally is listening to some of us with regards to the 5-for-5 substitutions. If I never see one again (in Williams Arena) I'll be the happiest man on the planet.
If we are up 86-54 over WI with 1:38 left to play...I won't mind it.
Good point. Then we'd be able to give the guys coming off a standing O.
But only when your team is sucking and the coach sends them a message or like the examples above of game over.
The way Tubby used it was perplexing.
I have no problem with the mass substitutions when we are planning on using the full court press for long portions of the game. I believe we are a team with enough solid players where we could potentially run some teams out of the gym.
Not sure if we have enough guards.
How many guards would a team need? I would say 3-4
If we ran the full court press all game we would have to tweak things. Only problem in my mind is if big mo could keep up? I hear what you are getting at though, I just don't see it as an issue the way you do
