He's trending down now that Sean Miller's recruits aren't there. Not sure why we would hire someone who went 9-7 (T-6th) in the Atlantic 10 and didn't qualify for the NCAA tournament.

Firing Tubby was absolutely correct. The deeper we get into names, however, the more I wonder why Flip hasn't already been hired. No brainer.
 

No. His career trajectory isn't what I'd call "inspiring."

Xavier Pre-Mack:

Xavier Post-Mack:
26-9 (14-2)
24-8 (15-1)
23-13 (10-6)

The names we get into doesn't matter. It's the names Teague gets into.

I’ve mentioned Chris Mack already. I think he would be a good fit. There are other, splashier names. But if those don’t work out, Mack would be nothing to scoff at. The question is whether he would leave Xavier. That would be a trick. But going back to the Villa 7 theme, he is very close with Teague and Ellis.
